My Trimix prescription says I should not inject myself with it more than once every two to three days. Ok, but what if I use it one night, and the next morning my wife and I wish to engage again. I was wondering if I could then take a Viagra tablet.

These are the instructions my doctor gave me…
You should not take Viagra 18 hours before or after an injection of Trimix.
You have to wait 24 hours before injecting again.
You should only inject 2 to 3 times a week.
You should never increase the dosage without talking to your doctor.
It will take several injections to get your dosage right, just be patient.
You should switch sides every time.

Good Luck and Enjoy!

Viagra kind of works for you a little??

I guess it all comes down to: Does Viagra have any effect at all when taken by itself?

If not, then it probably will make no difference if combined within any timeframe for your shot.

I take a Cialis/tadalfil or Viagra every so often just to see if it has any effect -- which has never really done anything for me.
Sometimes the pill overlaps the same day or next morning for Trimix.
Cialis/Viagra has never changed the shot in any way for me.

Your mileage may vary ... so use caution.

Thank you both. Viagra helps me get to about 60% rigidity while Trimix gets me to about 90%. I believe the reason there are wait times in between instances is so the tissue can heal. I was just thinking that since the Viagra doesn't do much tissue stretching it might be ok to use it not long after the Trimix.

It is my understanding that the reason for the wait times between injections and Viagra is to avoid priapism, an erection that lasts too long. An erection that lasts longer than 2 hours can cause permanent damage; an erection lasting longer than 4 hours is considered an emergency. To be safe and to be sure, I think you should talk with your doctor about this.

Good advice. Actually, using Trimix has, at times, given me a three hour erection when my wife and I have been unable to get to the act right away (for the three hours).

Bob – 3 hours is a long time. At 2 hours my instructions are to take four 30mg tablets of plain Sudafed (not XL Sudafed) to stop an erection. If I were still hard at 3 hours I’m supposed to call the doctor. And if I were to get to 4 hours, I supposed be in the ER.
Be sure to discuss this with your doctor when you call him about the wait times between medicines. -- Jon

Thank you, Jon. I'll have to get some Sudafed. Of course the alternative is to utilize the Trimix well within the three hours. When I do that the erection starts to go away.

I am missing something here.

The concept of Trimix was explained to me as "when the opportunity presents itself, stab Willie". Not use the shot then hope for something later.

In that context, a few minutes with a nice glass of wine, then an hour is beyond enough for any partner I've had, even before Trimix. The ladies I know want an enjoyable evening, not a marathon. Maybe I got the wrong ladies, but ...

Tigers instructions are much the same as what I have.

Yeah, I do the wining & dining before I do the stabbing; because once I poke -- I’m stoked … once I stick -- I’m up real quick … in like 5 to 10 minutes I’m ready to go.  yeah

And 45 minutes is the longest I’ve gone on Trimix.  Which is more than long enough for my wife … or me!
