I would like to check in and keep this thread going long term, updating with my progress and impressions with my PCa treatment.
I am one month into my clinical trial; neoadjuvant HT(Lupron+Abiraterone+Prednisone) 3 months, followed with EBRT. The abiraterone will stop after 6 months, but my HT will be 2-3 years. www.seattlecca.org/clinical-trials/prostate-7048.cfm

these numbers, but my journey has just begun and the trail to the top is long my brothers. The only side effects so far are minor hot flashes. These are infrequent and very tolerable. I am exercising and have moved to the Mediterranean diet. This food/exercise combination has me feeling very good and positive about

Biopsy: 11/2011: 8 of 14 cores, right side, 80-90%. GS7 (3+4)
Bone Scan: negative. CT Scan: lymph neg, soft tissue mass posterior to prostate
HT: 12/2011, start Lupron/Aberaterone (Zytiga)/Prednisone
