I'm guessing there is a discussion out here on this topic but I'm not able to find it. If so, feel free to just point me to it.
I'm curious what rehab medication regimen your doctors have put you all on after surgery. I've read Dr. Mulhall's book and watched his video's on YouTube. He is suggesting 1/2 pill daily with some full pill days mixed in and suggesting a vacuum device is of little value. It sounds like my surgeon will get me a vacuum device through insurance immediately and will then be prescribing a lighter regimen of meds. Something like 1/4 pill per day for the first month, then tossing in full pull days every few, with use of vacuum device daily.
What have been the common regimens amongst you all? How affective were they in generating penile response?
In Dr. Mulhall's video presentation on YouTube he mentions that often there is penile response in the first month after surgery though it gets poorer over the first few months. What has been your experience.
I realize there is now way to assert how successful the regimen has been as we don't know what life would have been like without the regimen for comparison, this one still appears to be an active debate between specialists. But heck, I'll take every opportunity for best result I can within reason.
