There are actually two reports, and you would need to ask for them both.
1) Pathology - the post-surgical pathology report details what was actually found by the pathologist who examined the prostate after it was removed. I'm not surprised that it was not offered to you (Mine was not - I had to ask - perhaps it was presented as something you might or might not have been interested in), as it is detailed.
2) Surgery - the surgical report details what was done in the course of the operation, but may not tell you very much. I had to contact the hospital where the surgery was done to get that.
Just the point that they are two similar names, but completely different. My pathology report was several pages (more than 4, as I remember), the surgical report only one.
If you are in the US, you are entitled to them.
You should also get a copy of the Biopsy pathology report as well, if you don't already have that.
