Grandchildren are the best!  We have seven now.  The four-year-old twins are playing in the living room as I type this, until I take them to pre-school at noon.  Congrats again Raddad and MsWorryWar

Bud...

... Too funny!

I didn't mention days one through three! Those are a given! LOL yeah

Will bring pictures.

I did think it was great numbers to focus on. :)

Enjoy your bundle of joy, as they grow up too fast. My oldest is already 9 and trying to act like she is 13.

Thanks for the smile! turn

It is great to hear about grandkids.  When I found out about my PC, I had just found out we expecting our first grandchild.  I prayed that I would live long enough to see my first one.  Now we have two grandsons and we are expecting our first granddaughter in April.  Whoopie!!!!!!

We have three sons, the youngest are identical twins. In 2011 each son had a child so three cousins born in the same year (two boys and a girl). That brings us to nine grandchildren and nothing in life is better.

threads liek this remind me what it felt like to get cancer at 40 and the thoughts that ran through my mind such as "my kids are so young", :but I want to be there with my grandkids".

Then, when time passes and things got a little less dramatic, I accepted that I could never have kids again and that I could look forward to grandkids. Mine are young teens now and I really miss the toddler stage. I hope they wait until they're in their early 30s and that I'm still around but will certainly make the most of it.

The topic of Grandchildren came up in the "August (2010) Surgeries" thread.  My husband and I take care of our youngest Grandchildren while their parents work.  It was no easy task reminding them not to jump on to his lap.  We did take a two week break after the surgery.  We have four Grandbabes at the moment.  This weekend we had the youngest with us as the family with on a ski vacation.  What a pleasure that was!  She was making up words and singing to us, the dolls, and stuffed animals.  We also practiced our ballet exercises to a DVD .  Ron isn't very graceful! turn    I can't picture life without them or my husband!

davidg, you'll be around to enjoy the next generation.  Positive thougths coming your way!
