3 weeks post surgery and I'm amazed at where my body is at in this healing game. I've had my first truly dry day, no drips. I still can get an occasional drip with spontaneous laughing, specially late in the day when the muscles are getting tired, but the body seems to recognize it's happening and shut it off fast enough to only be a drip. I'm sure I'll have plenty of stress incontinence to deal with when I start exercising in a few weeks, but wow, what an amazing feeling so far. I've been padless since 5 days after catheter.
What amazed me more is what I was woken up by - a sexual dream which left me mostly erect when I woke. Probably not enough for penetration, but not significantly short of it. I'm on 5 mg Cialis nightly so that's probably helping. Most encouraging is that the nerves are truly there and showing promise at just 3 weeks. At the 4 week point we get to do the first Cialis boost and are supposed to play and see where it will go. I'm looking forward to this test and potentially surprising my wife with some fun.
I'm just so dumbfounded I had to share.
