The government wanted this old Indian chief to move off his land, but the indian had lived there all his life.
First, they sent an underling, and he asked the indian, what's your name?
The indian said, Bow (as in bow down).
We need you to move, Bow, we want to build a relay station here. We can give you 5,000 bucks for the land.
The indian looked at him, and said, Bows no move.
A week later, they sent the Chief Deputy for the government to see the indian, and asked him the same question, but this time,
they offered him 100,000 bucks.
The indian looked at him, and said, Bows still no move.
Frustrated, they sent the head of the agency to the indian, and offered him a half a million dollars for the land.
Of course, the indian shook his head, and said, bows still no move. The big shot was frustrated, and said, you must be sick in the head, tommorow, you go see this doctor, let him deal with you.
The next morning, the indian dutifully went to the doctor. The doctor said, what brings you here?
The indian simply said, bows no move. Easy enough, replied the doctor, take 2 of these pills tonight with water and you will ok, then come back and see me.
The indian did as asked, and came back. Well, said the doctor, is everything ok?
The indian said, bows still no move. So the doctor gave him a whole bottle of laxatives, and said drink this tonight, then come back tommorow.
The indian went home, drank the whole bottle, and came back to the doctor the next day.
This time, the indian didn't wait for the doctor to ask. He eagerly replied, bows move now, teepee full of shi#
