Well official Birthday for me is March 19th (61) but had early Birthday Present
11 years PC Free (official surgery was 6/22 but found PC in March) PSA 0 and DRE negative
Had AMS 800 activated 3/8/2011 and love it!!. I do have some drips and things I have to watch out for.
I was 8 pads, tried not to drink too much water or anything, couldn't kneel on one knee without peeing down the side of my leg - so all is good.
Talked with Urologist and after reading some of you guys on here and having PC with low PSA, said DRE now. Dr S said he agreed fully, he has found several post RP patients with 0 PSA but had irregularities.
The Irregularities were PC. He recommends have the DRE periodically.
The number was very small with 0 PSA and return of PC but if its me, that number is too high.
So, all you guys who thought they would not get the fickle finger of fate again, may want to reconsider.
God Bless you all and thanks for information which you shared.
Those who are just starting on the journey, in 11 years there has been tremendous change which may have changed the outcome of continence problems and ED. If you have a good wife (38yrs this Oct) or partner you will get through it and be stronger.
