We got back from our 3-day mini-vacation in Chareleston last night. It was a good trip. And you know what? We never once brought up the subject of my health, never discussed PC, or my upcoming oncologist visit and looming PSA test. It can be done.
Weather was perfect the whole time, 3 days of clear blue skies ,temps in the mid 70s by day, upper 50s at night. Water was still too cold to swim, but we walked along the Battery over looking Charleston harbor looking out to Ft. Sumter.
Charleston is a major cuisine city, so needless to say, had one great meal after another. Staying in a nice hotel helped set the mood for our 38th anniversery, and all I will say, is that "Jr" was worked out multiple times, lol. Felt like we were still honeymooners.
Ended up having a nice home cooked traditional Easter dinner with my daughter and SOL and a friend of his.
All in all, a nice trip. We will do it again in about 3 months. Tommorow I see my doctor, get the new PSA number, and that will be that. Actually looking forward to talking with him, as I have a long list of new questions and ideas to go over with him. I will post the results of all that tommorow evening.

P.S. Can't say that making the 233 mile each way trip helped my pain or back any more in the new Lincoln, but at least I looked better driving in it, lol. Still was a good excuse to buy a new car
