First, the descript
ion of Muse can be used for my experience with Caverject. Imagine unrolling that poker into a sheet and wrapping it around the penis. That was my experience each of the 6 times I tried it- in different strengths, by the way.
It is a rare occasion when any insurance or the VA will cover Trimix or Bimix. Since it is a custom compounded product, there's not much chance of getting anyone to cover it. I was surprised that my BC/BS would cover the Caverject Impulse system as well as the powdered Caverject that was reconstituted by sterile water. But, I get my trimix and bimix locally and get it in 1 ml vials, rather than the whole 5 ml prescript
ion, that way I keep it fresher and don't waste as much. The cost of 5 1ml vials is the same as 1 5ml vial, by the way.
One thing not mentioned is Trimix gel, which is new and only a couple guys here have tried it. Really expensive, applies similar to Muse but I seem to remember not so dependable, repeatable results. If it were me starting over, I'd start with the weaker and less likely to cause problems- bimix and then work in the other direction, bimix, trimix, Caverject. Another thing I just remembered, a couple years ago there was a shortage of Caverject, don't know if that is still true, but something to check out. In any case, good luck with whatever you decide. It will take trial and error, failures along with success, and time to dial in the right dose, and even then there's a chance you will still have some failures with the final dose.
