Niagara Falls is a little less than 2 hours away from here. Two years ago Sonny planned on driving over there after everyone left but post GFMPH he was so relaxed he just hung around for an extra couple of days. Nice. No pressure.
You can either take the Thruway or take a leisurely drive along Lake Ontario shoreline.
From here you can make it an easy day trip. 2 hours there, 3 if you stop at some of the neat, small towns along the way (Olcott), 2 or 3 hours in Niagara Falls for sight seeing and studying the fun kitsch and then 2 - 3 hours driving back, stopping off at garage sales or a winery or two along the way. It is a nice day trip.
If you intend to go to the Canadian side you'll need a passport. Residents of NY, MI, WI, can use their enhanced driver's licenses. Or you can just stay on the American side and spend your American money in America - where it belongs!
The enhanced patio will be poured the first week in Sept. Time sure does fly!
Cajun Jeff had outdoor cooking facilities at his place. I can't compete with that so I'm thinking of putting in an automatic Pee Pad dispenser.
Jeff not worried in NY
