I don't think this is the best
location for him. The clinical approaches to prostate cancer and bladder cancer are not the same. While some of the side effects to treatment may be similar, the best place for him to find his peers is in a bladder cancer specific forum like this one:bladdercancersupport.org/bladder-cancer-forum
There are others as well and search them in google with these key words "bladder cancer forum" or "bladder cancer chat". He'll find a host of sites helping each other out.
Also for the purpose of researching bladder cancer he may also want to search "Genitourinary Cancer" as urinary tract cancers are among that class of cancer. If he needs to consider a clinical trial the best place to research them is clinicaltrials.gov
All the best to you and your brother Brian, Sorry for the diagnosis but I hear that good things are happening in research for bladder cancers and that mortality rates are similar for bladder cancers and prostate cancers. And that rate is less than 3% mortality.
