More curious than anything...saw an interesting trend and just wondering if there is a connection between the age of diagnosis and how old your parents were when you were born.

If you want to participate, please answer the following 2 questions:

1.  How old were you at diagnosis?

2.  How old were your parents when you were born?

A Yoooper,

It wasn't a formal trend...just a pattern that I've been seeing lately...and it's probably just a coincidence.

I've seen a lot of younger guys like myself be the youngest member of the family and/or where the father was older than 30 when they were born....and have higher gleason.

Call me crazy -- but, I just was curious...I'm sure it's like when you buy a new car... you see them all over the road.

Thank you all..

I was 44 when diagnosed...parents were 35 years old each.
