Thanks for letting us know the results. Personally, I am glad he is willing to move you along to a med. onco, that's the best option now. As far as the shot for 3 months and test again while waiting, that sounds like a good idea. Cautious, conservative and good medicine. In my opinion. The truth is that the options after failed surgery and radiation is limited, and usually begins with HT- Casodex and Lupron, so that's probably what the next step will be for the onco, in any case. Your husbands health status overall seems good, so he has a long, long time ahead to combat this, so don't get discouraged.
Sense of humor: always helpful and sometimes we gotta laugh so we don't cry. Just try to take each day as it comes, you got a long way to go yet, so pace yourselves, and try to enjoy the blessings we have- sometimes we forget to notice and appreciate them on a daily basis.
