I just had my two year post Targeted Focal Therapy biopsy and it was negative. It was the standard 12 core biopsy. Additionally my PSA has been stable at one for the last 2 years. My quality of life excellent. I have no urinary or sexual side effects from the treatment. I had my TFT at the University of Colorado, Denver using cryosurgery. I urge all men with low risk prostate cancer to research TFT as a potential treatment for their cancer. Treat the cancer not the whole gland. Minimize the side effects of treatment .
Congratulations. For me it's 4 1/2+ years. I'll be seeing Dr Barqawi for the fifth anniversary fairly soon. I never would've dreamt of our treatment results when I was first diagnosed.. See what's possible if one doesn't panic and learns all of his options?
