Sometimes the Uros forget to tell a patient they want them to come back in once they get the prescription filled.
Mine did, for instance. I had taken my wife with me to the appointment where I got the scrip and my doctor and my wife were busily chatting away while he wrote out the scrip. He forgot to give me his standard poop sheet or to mention coming back after I had filled the prescript

Just curious what is the price ?
The price for injectables is all over the map. It depends on a large number of factors. My vial of 4.5ml of Trimix costs me $99 US at my local compounding pharmacy here is North Carolina. I am still tinkering with the dose but that vial will give me somewhere between nine and fifteen injections, depending where I wind up. Add in fifty cents for the syringe, needle and alcohol wipes and it averages out to around ten bucks a pop, more or less.
There is a more concentrated version of the drug that would cost me $149 US for a vial but would give me twice as many injections. That would drop the price to about
seven dollars. I tried to get that last time I refilled my scrip but there was a miscommunication between my uro and the pharmacy and I wound up just refilling my old, lower-concentration prescript
Once I settle on a mix I may shop around for pharmacies that take orders online and ship the drugs. My impression is that with the more concentrated mix and an online pharmacy I could get the price down to about
five dollars per session, even with my rather large dose. I'd be interested in the prices paid by other US Trimix users. I wouldn't mind paying less.
The above prices are for my local pharmacy in the US and I have no clue about
prices in the UK. I am also talking about
"Trimix" which is a custom-compounded mix of three generic drugs. There are single-drug, commercial products available too but they cost more and I am sensitive to the drug they use. There is less of it in the Trimix.
