Newly diagnosed with Prostate Cancer.
PSA 4.8 (been climbing last few years)
Biopsy 2 of 12 positive. Gleason 3+3=6 (5%) and 3+4=7 (20%)
Weird that I'm feeling more concerned about treatment side effects than I am the cancer diagnosis.
Really don't have time for this new hobby of researching treatment choices. But, with the reading/talking I've done, I'm leaning toward robotic surgery. Seems experience (lots of robotic surgeries) is important to outcomes.
As I'm waiting for answers to questions about robotic surgery experience from my current urologist, wondered if folks had recommendations for "the best" surgeon in the West Michigan area. (or anywhere else for that matter).
Anyone had experience with Muskegon or Grand Rapids surgeons?
Thanks in advance for sharing your experience.
