My motivation story:
So there was this guy who worked in a factory on the swing shift. He lived close by and would walk to and from work. On his way to the factory he'd take the shortcut through the graveyard. When he got off at midnight he'd take the longer way around to avoid walking through the dark graveyard.
One night it was raining and the wind blowing so he decided that he'd take the shortcut going home so he didn't have to stay out in the storm. When he got about
halfway through the graveyard he fell into an
open grave - one that was being prepare for a funeral the next day.
Try as he might, he couldn't get out. He jumped but couldn't get a handhold. The sides of the grave started to cave in when he tried to dig handholds.
So he decided that it was best to just stay put and in the morning the gravediggers would find him and get him out. He pulled his collar up and hunkered down in the corner to wait.
ten minutes later another man from the factory was also taking the short cut and fell into the same grave. The second man tried to get out too but was having problems with the loose wet soil and didn't seem to notice the first man.
The first man then said from his dark corner, "You'll never get out of here."
but you know what, the second man made it out in about
half a second.
So the moral is: It's all about
having the right motivation...
