As you know I'm way behind you at this stage, but I'll still weigh in due to the similarities in our diagnosis and choice of treatment. My urinary frequency has pretty much gone away...it took 2-3 months after the brachy and IMRT. Regarding urinary flow, I find that if I take a single tab of Rapaflo it works for 3-4 days and then my flow starts to diminish and I pop another one. I keep thinking that 3-4 day period will get longer, but there's been no change. That said, 1-2 Rapaflo a week isn't a bad deal in my book.
I'm really not sure where I stand on ED since I have zero libido on my HT. Everything seems to work, but it sure doesn't get used very often nowadays. That's one of worries once I come off HT and (presumably) become interested in sex again. And of course, I'm worried about some of the other SEs that might show up a year or two from now.
While I'm no expert here, it seems to me like your testosterone levels should have come up more than they have since it's been a year since you've been off HT. (Hmm, I'm trying to remember...is there a difference between the ways Canada and the US measures T levels? Was that part of an earlier post? I blame my HT for the fact that I can't remember.)
I know and aren't you lucky.....lol..............apparently what is considered to be low and normal T levels are somewhat different in Canada vs the US and like I reported, mine is still low and climbing, albeit slower than I would like. Let's hope that things will improve as my T levels rise.
