If you're set on surgery that's fine and I do hope it goes very well for you. But I'm also getting the sense that you're not fully sure and you're letting the surgery schedule dictate your actions instead of the other way around. If I'm off base and you're committed to surgery, ignore this next comment. But if you're unsure then you should consider canceling. If you still decide on surgery, you can always reschedule.
I'm not trying to complicate things and I say this with a bit of apprehension since I don't want to complicate your life. But people do cancel surgery at late notice and there's no shame in that. The medical establishment is supposed to serve you, not the other way around.
If I'm off base with this and you're all-in for surgery, I apologize. This also is not to say surgery wouldn't be a proper treatment for you. Regardless, best of luck to you and this community really cares and wants you to do what's best for you.
To Michael and Yoop,
Hey guys, never worry about
apologizing to me. I am so glad I found my friends on this forum for guidance. I may be a Pharmacist, but that sure doesn't help you at all when it comes to this kind of decision making. I appreciate all of your past knowledge and help on making those decisions only I can make.
