I considered Univ. of Miami last year, talked to my urologist. He graduated from there. When I told him I was considering it, he hesitated a few seconds. I told him, I don't like your hesitation already. My wife asked him the question " If you had PCa, who would you have do your surgery?" He didn't hesitate at all, he said Dr. Vipul Patel at Celebration Health. Dr. Patel trained at Univ. of Miami.
Dr. Patel is "The Rock Star Surgeon" in Florida if that is where you live and has done more Da Vincis than anyone in the world, over 6,000. He did my surgery and I could not be more pleased. The hospital was great, they have 2 Da Vincis. Even though he has many patients from all over the world fly in to have their surgeries, he talks to you like he really knows you and your cancer.
