I used a walgreen's, then later depends adult pant, with a tena women's heavy pad stuck inside the first day or two. The depends guard wasn't enough for many weeks.
Change the pad as needed, the pant is a backup.
As already mentioned, limit water the two hours before bed, but during the day, keep drinking still water even if you pass too much - keeps the irritation & potential infections of the bladder down.
Kegels, do them a couple or three times a day, not all in one big session.
