My husband is Dr. Mulhall's patient and I can share the protocol that he was given before and immediately after his surgery. Two weeks before surgery he was instructed to take 25 mg of Viagra every day until surgery. Then my husband stopped taking it when he had surgery.
After surgery my husband resumed taking 25 mg of Viagra (100 mg quartered) when the catheter was removed. He did this for 4 weeks. After 4 weeks the protocol changed. He was to take 25 mg of Viagra for 6 days and on 1 day take 100 mg of Viagra and try for an erection. This continued for 4 more weeks.
After 2 months (approximately) my husband started on trimix injections combined with low dose Viagra (25 mg) on the days he did not inject since he had ED.
I think that you should consult with your surgeon for instructions. I am just sharing the protocol that my husband was given by Dr. Mulhall. My husband's surgeon knows Dr. Mulhall and told my husband to follow his advice.
