Welcome aboard Healing Well alleyoop1!
Don't second guess your decision now, embrace it and see it through.
You will do fine, in fact, you'll probably sleep right through it!
When I was in the waiting room the morning of surgery and they came to get me to take me to pre-op I said, "Okay, let's go kick some PCa a*s!"
The anesthesiologist said my blood pressure was high just before we went into surgery. I told him, "let's switch places right now and I bet my blood pressure goes down".
As Johnathan said, have a sense of humor even if you don't want to. Fake it 'til you make it.
Good luck, I'll say a prayer for you and your doctor and we'll see you on the other side!
