Before my surgery, the surgeon warned that I might never be able to tolerate anything with alcohol, caffeine or carbonation again. I asked him what else is there to drink?
Thankfully, my body tolerates all of the above, though perhaps I have a bit more urgency when it comes time for the bathroom. (But that's probably because of the volume of liquid that I drink when having beer/soda moreso than the effects of the alcohol/caffeine/carbonation.)
