Was shocked to read this thread tonight. I feel so bad, and so sorry for you. In your case, I had hoped this horrible thing was a distant memory, like my stricture/catheter issues were years back. The only reason I still don't have them myself, is because of my Urostomy surgery. My uro deemed my urethra and bladder neck perm. impassable over two years ago because of excessive scarring, so there is no way physically it could happen to me, because of the urinary by-pass.
Sounds like you will be heading for another stricture class day op perhaps? I would rather do it that way, then to be at an uro's office being "scoped" while awake. Rather see you put under, and let the doctor due his dirty business with you in never land.
Your incontinence sounds extreme, so whatever happened, must have really opened up the flood gates so to speak.
I feel so bad for you, I know this is a severe level set-back, and will keep you in my thoughts. I hope they find a quick workable solution for you with this. Probably makes you a little gun shy after this lapse of time. Will be watching for your updates, and hoping they improve for you.
