I had 3 biopsies over 12 years and just had blood in the semen for about
4-6 weeks. No pain the day after the biopsy.
By the way, I scheduled a date with my uro to go over the results. That way I wasn't jumping every time the phone rang, wondering if it was bad news. They knew 2-3 days after the biopsy but I got the news with the uro in his office. If I had it to do over again, I would do it that way again.
If it is bad news, be sure to ask for a copy of your biopsy results showing how many core, how much volume and the Gleason score in each core positive. They will give it to you.
