Met someone at my support group who recently had a RRP. A few days after the catheter was removed he just could not pee, so the catheter went back in then out then in again and finally out. The result of this catheterising meant that he as lost all pressure when voiding the bladder.
Voiding in the "standing position" is normal for most males; however, this is no longer possible as there is no pressure and it trickles down his leg. His new normal is the "seated position" and it takes quiet a while as its a trickle feed. This had been going on for 3 months since the operation.
I hope to see him at our next get together before we have any our Christmas break. His PSA < .01. Any suggestions!
