I have not had any issues with Medicare or united Health Care AARP Medicare supplement Plan F paying for any blood work. I figure they have paid out over a half million dollars in claims the past two years for Lupron, Zytiga, Zometa, Prolia, SBRT and various urologists, radiation oncologists and medical oncologists, bone scans, MRI's, CT scans, etc and strangely the only thing they ever denied was that my DEXA second bone density scan was too soon.
Got that done last week after proper amount of time had elapsed and showed an overall 7% improvement.
Felt pretty good about
that until attached newsletter Dr. Mark Scholz says the only test worth doing is the QCT, not the DEXA.
