I vote for a retest. That is acting very much like an infection or a bad day at the lab (could be an error at the lab). A DRE would be good.
ED is caused by a lot of things, so difficult to comment about
Are you being seen by a URO? Before even thinking of a biopsy, you need to see what the cirpro does and get a full evaluation by a good URO. Also consider the PHI test.
PSA isn't a test for cancer, it can only detect prostate activity and yours has suddenly starting doing something. What that something is could be anything - cancer is very low on the list and with that PSA number, I'd not be worrying much right now.
Don't think about
a biopsy until you've ruled out all other causes - infection, BPH, lab errors, solar flares, etc.
