My husband had his first Lupron shot on February 23. He's waiting to start IGRT in late April. Up until today he's had no side effects other than being a little tired. Today he's had a little trouble urinating. Not every time, but he starts and then stops. No pain, no blood. Is this the Lupron? Do we call the uro?

It is not one of the usually reported SEs, but for sure I get an increase in frequency/urgency, especially at night. I have to go 2-3 times during the night (compared to 0-1 off the drug).

My frequency has not been impacted by Lupron.

I'm starting Lupron in a few weeks. If the only side effect I have is getting a little tired that will be good. Concerning the urination issue, I would contact the doctor, that's considered a serious side effect per RxList website.

Trouble peeing is not, generally, a symptom of Lupron. He should talk to his urologist about it but it isn't likely that it has anything to do with his hormone therapy.
