I've had blood in my urine for the past few days. Everything checked clear.
Just to be sure the doc made sure I got to experience a cystoscopy. Not nearly as bad as I feared. And, compared to wearing a catheter for a couple of weeks, an absolute walk in the park.
(Edited to add - The procedure forces air into your bladder. Farting from your penis when you next take a leak is actually pretty funny.)
It appears that the radiation from my SRT affected the lining of my bladder. Doc says this takes at least two years to show up. Four in my case. The lining becomes a bit more brittle and can bleed. Usually, it takes care of itself. The radiation proctitis pretty much went away so I figure this will too.
On the plus side - I'm still in the zero club.
Maybe I'll talk myself into a visit to Yellowstone next week. The east gate
opens tomorrow. Feel free to tag along.
