I bet you that if the results were no good - you or Clapp would say “hey, here is the proof that it doesn't work”.
If you had read my comments over the last year or so, you would know that I think Gat and Goren's theory could have merit, and that I want the Gat-Goren procedure to be successful
. You would also know that I have searched unsuccessfully for USA radiologists that perform the procedure, and I have asked if anyone on this forum were aware of any
, and have received no response.
I have to think carefully about
investing US$20,000 plus substantial travel time in a procedure that has such a small number of reported results. Particularly suspicious is that Gat and Goren have NOT in any way (as far as I know) updated their reported results since 2007, when they reported on the results experienced by 28 men. Subsequent to that date, Gat and Goren have performed their procedure on hundreds, if not thousands, of additional men, and there has been NO updated report. GG's office has even reported to members of this forum that they have a US patent on the procedure, when none exists.
If you do not want to be suspicious of this new "study," where there was no follow up of almost half of the already small number of participants, that is fine. For you to presume to know what I would say if the reported results were negative, is foolish. For your information, I would have been just as doubtful of such a small study, and would have wondered whether those performing the new study were intentionally trying to denigrate the GG procedure. (Of course, I would still wonder why GG had not updated the report on their own results.)
Dave's charting of forum members' results is a model that GG should follow.
