Welcome to HW, sorry you have to be here.
Those are concerns. Incontinence should improve as you heal, but it takes time. Everyone is different, but expect a few weeks/months. It's really difficult to predict so I won't try. Walking and kegel exercises are the best to help here. If you do lifting, you'll run into the problem of stress incontinence, but that should ease over time. For also watch out for bladder irritants like coffee, tea, beer (sigh), and stick to water for awhile.
ED, well you never know what will come up. That can take months/years, but we've had guys here report getting right back into it without problems. You'll want to talk to your URO about
it and you might need the pills for awhile to help get things moving again. You should checkout Dr. John Mulhal's book, "Saving Your Sex Life A Guide for Men with Prostate Cancer" He gives good instructions on rehabilitation and what to do starting now.
First you need to heal and get that cath out.
Before you know it this will all just be a bad memory.
Hang in there and keep us updated on your progress,
I'll be in the shop.
