Last sunday morning, I was in a single vehicle accident that led to a deployed air bag. Fundamentally, (I'll admit it, and it's in the police report, no tickets issued), I fell asleep, left the roadway, and hit a culvert hard enough to deploy the airbag. I have lower back pain, a sore breastbone from the seatbelt, and abrasions on my left arm from the airbag.
Seriously, I'm Ok. I don't seem to have any abdominal symptoms of any kind. Should I call my Uro anyway? Any ideas of what I might watch out for?
By the way, if you're ever in a situation where the airbag deploys, you'll never see it happen. It's way too fast. I heard a bang, and the next thing I realized was that I was on a lawn on the other side of US 40 and the airbag was laying in my lap.
