I'm 4 months since RALP on 2/17. Things are going really well on the PC front. I'm having periods where I don't really think about
PC at all. ED is a non-issue. Continence, well, it's weird. I'll have periods of several days where I don't leak at all. Then, I'll have a day or two where it seems like I squirt every time I stand up. The good part is that the 'squirt' days are getting further and further apart.
My whole experience has been one where things have turned out much better than they could have. Historic pessimist that I am, I'm pleasantly surprised by how things are going. I guess my thought for those who are just getting started on the journey is this: You can have a great outcome, if you search out the best facility and the best treatment team you find. That, and a little luck, and you'll come out on the other side without a hitch.
