Hello to the forum.
After a long absence I have returned to the forum ---- seems like I have been away for donkey's ages. I see that quite a few of the old timers are still here --- my ol' mate David, Mal, Mel, man of mystery 142, Jeff, Peter, An, Allan and lots of others. Where is Bronson the Canuck puppetmaster?
Wow, are there a lot of new members or what?
I read of the passing of Zufus with much sadness ------ a true battler and fine sceptic of convention.
I saw my GP recently about
a back pain. I had a feeling that it was just another point of arthritis and conventional Xray suggests that, but the doc wants a bone scan for metastases. I'm thinking this is a waste of the tax payers money (some $600-00)---- I'm due a PSA (I have it one ultrasensitively each six months) so why not do that first and then decide. Nope. He is UK trained and apparently the protocol over there is to bone scan treated PCa patients each 5 years. So that's done as well as a PSA (ultrasensitive). PSA is <0.01, just as it has been since 2007 and the bonescan says arthritis
I guess they have to cover their backsides.
