Good evening everyone. I know I'm not on here very often but I try to keep tabs on everyone from time to time. It's good to see everyone being so supportive as always. HW is such a warm and inviting site....so caring.

It's been 11 years nearly since Paul was diagnosed. His PSA is still <.001. Paul is still using TRT with good results as well.

On another note; Paul's also looking forward to retiring in the near future ....probably. We'll see how things pan out. A family trip to Hawaii in December might just be the thing that makes him want to give up his 35 year career as a firefighter. He finally retired his HazMat firefighting helmet after 28 years of service, so who knows.

As for the rest of the family; Everyone is doing great and this whole being grandparents thing is awesome! Charlee is the apple of Gam's & Grampa's eye. She's growing so fast. It's hard to believe she's almost 2 already. I swear I turned around and our son and daughter were all grown up with careers, homes and lives of their own. What a blessing but how time does fly!

Hey Swim, What wonderful news for Paul, now that man is a fighter all the way around with a great woman by his side! Sounds like Hawaii would be the perfect retirement party for the family as you all have much to celebrate.

I can relate to seeing the little ones growing so quickly-having grandchildren is a wonderful gift, to be sure and they sure prove to you how quickly time passes.

Great to see your name pop up here and I wish you & your family continued good health and much happiness!

Glad to see he is doing well.

Also, great to see someone diagnosed in 2006, doing well and on TRT to boot.

Thanks for the post.

I'm happy to hear the good news, Swim. I get it regarding the granddaughter. My grandson was not yet born when I first came here. He is now a 9 year old third grader.
