Thankfully, this has become routine. I had another undetectable PSA. This is 5 years after diagnosis and approximately 2 years after I finished treatment. My oncologist wants to keep checking my PSA at 3 month intervals. To him, 2 years post-treatment is the key time frame and why it is too soon to back off.
Generally I continue to feel good. My lower back does bug me a bit. But, my energy-level is good and my libido is very good.
I continue with 100% ED. I have long accepted it. I quite successfully use a VED. (Two trips to the ER dissuaded me from continuing to use Trimix.) The weird incongruity is my getting nocturnal erections while I sleep. It is odd to know my plumbing still works yet not be able to do anything about it when awake.
Best wishes to everyone going through the various phases of this disease. Even if you are faced with a tough diagnosis, real remissions are possible and life can successfully move forward.
