This weekend my step-daughter is getting married and I am off to the wedding, so I won't be on HW much over the next few days.

Once the reception starts and the bar opens, I'll bet my wife will hide my computer so someone's going to need to cover my weekend shift here.

Four basic answers should cover everything:
"That sucks."
"It's not that bad."
"Get a second opinion."
"I'll have a beer."

A poem or two would be nice, but not totally necessary.

Peace,
Andrew

Beth,
You should "get a second opinion" on that last beer. "It's not that bad," but if you have one too many, "that sucks! :)

Andrew,
ENJOY!

Better send that beer to Epstein and see what he thinks.

Enjoy the weekend and reception. If you get a chance, have a beer.

Andrew:

In all seriousness, walking my daughter down the aisle was one of the biggest thrills in my life, enhanced by the fact that at one time I really didn't know if I would have that opportunity, due to my PC dx.

That thrill is right up there along with my wedding day and the birth of my children. Major milestone. ENJOY!

We never thought this day would come. Major milestone indeed.

Andrew, enjoy, and congrats. You'll be missed. But I have a feeling you won't be able to stay away.

I am back...

more after I've recovered from the horrible flight delays yesterday. If you had to go anywhere by air yesterday, I feel for you. Huston was a mess. We were one of the lucky ones who where only delayed by three hours. Hate to tell you how many I saw at the gate get the hotel voucher and directions to hotel shuttle area.

Other than a horrible travel day yesterday, it was a great wedding, wonderful time on Anna Maria Island (even with it's lack of a starbucks) and watching the sunset from the beach.

Peace, love and key lime pie,
Andrew

We were headed west, and boy howdy! was it turbulent. I swear the seat belt light was on almost all the way from Tampa to Huston. It's been years since I've see a plane shimmy and shake like that.

Glad to be on the ground in California.

You were 20 mins away from me at Tampa Airport! Dang Andrew! I would've drove right over there, dragging myman with me to meet you & your wife! When I told him the Poetry Man, the Marquetry Guy, the Grandkids Loving Couple, and last but not least the Cat rescuer had been at TIA he said, well why didn't we go over there? Cause I haven't been keeping up with things, I said. So, ok, next time cause we do have lots of sunsets left for you both to enjoy here!
Glad the wedding was such a happy occasion for your family,
Susan

Susan - I would have like have met. Sadly, our time was very compressed so I didn't tell anyone we'd be out there.

Next I am in that part of the world, I'll let folks know and maybe we could meet for a meal or coffee.

Air travel does suck, but at least the airplane opposes the earths gravity. Champagne is my choice, not the flute, but the "traditional glass". There is just something I like about the shape... You are indeed the poet of the tree...
