PSA doing a slow rise but we'll take it

As you can see below, hubby's PSA results from this week are at .62, which is good news in that it didn't double from the October reading of .47. We know Casodex and other therapies are in his future, but at least we can continue to hold it off til necessary. Moffitt and MSK are thinking let it rise to 6-10 before going on Casodex. Moffitt med onc thinks once it hits 2 it'll increase rapidly. But until then, we are living life and hubby's "to do" list needs updated. Wishing all of you strength and answered prayers for the new year.

2/25/2015 PSA six months after radiation: .05
5/21/2015 PSA nine months after radiation: .17 (referred to Med Onc at Moffitt)
7/20/2015 PSA .41 (more than doubled, classified "incurable, micrometastatic")
10/5/2015 PSA .47 (slowed down considerably; second opinion from MSK - same plan as Moffitt, wait and see)
1/6/2016 PSA .62 (only half increase - at least it didn't double)

Looks like you are staying right on top of things ... watching the numbers carefully ... showing due diligence.

Meanwhile, keep living life every day, as you have been ... you can pursue further treatments in the future, when warranted.
