Spoke with my doctor and one of our top posters here on HW.
This is most likely radiation cystitis.
I will sleep on it and call her office in the morning. I may very well delay matters until we come back from our 30-day vacation (which includes two important doctor visits).
A big concern is that the scope itself can accentuate the issues. I do not want that happening at this time.
Considering it has stopped and you seem to be considering at least delaying any possible invasive procedures, also remember how this started: "I was straining during a BM, quite a bit ". Just as with the more common rectal/rhoid bleeding commonly seen with such exercise, anywhere down below where there is a weak vessel could contribute to this problem. So if it quickly stopped and has not recurred, and happened while pushing, then let's face it: the straining is probably what caused it. You stop doing that, and it stopped bleeding. That is a sign, most likely. I would also be a bit hesitant to be scoped for a one time bleed that occurred at a time when it probably is not a huge surprise( to me at least) that it happened. Now if it continues without apparent cause, that is different.
BTW, I had a similar bleed a few months after surgery. It happened during orgasm using a pump and rings. It scared the heck out of me. I think started a thread about
it. Stopped pretty quick and never happened again. But it was a long time before I tried that contraption again.
