'64-'65? I would have been 6 or 7 then. Our local little league played at "Lou Groza Field", and I remember seeing a big white Cadillac around town with a license plate that read "TOE".
Looking back, the weirdest part of being in greater Cleveland was that it was possible, on a Weekend, to walk up to any ticket booth at Cleveland Stadium (the 70,000 seat monster on the lakefront) and buy a box seat ticket 30 minutes before first pitch. I can remember games where there were more employees than fans in the stadium.
