Over the the last 3 years I have been writing my blog I have been posting on average once a week. It is not always easy to keep it fresh and relevant. It has become a labor of love however and I would do it even if nobody was reading it. Y'all do read it though and for that I say thank you. A special thank you to those who have clicked the follow button and get notified when I post.
So why do I blog? I blog first and foremost because people asked me to tell my story. I don't have time to write a book. The blog allows me to write when inspiration strikes and doesn't take too much time.
I write to give hope to others that they can fight this disease. I blog for therapy. It helps me understand and deal with my own emotions.
Google gives me the option to put ads on my blog and I allow it. It's a fun little game and It keeps it interesting. The minimum pay out ceiling is $100.00 Today a broke through the
$100.00 mark and apparently I will be getting a check from Google. For that I also say thank you.
You people are my family. Thank you for being here. Todd

54,001... Thanks for sharing. I write a personal Pca journey/blog also so that my distant family and friends can stay in touch with what is happening without the need to call. It is also therapeutic. Thanks Todd. -JR

Wow Todd...a check from google? If it were me, I would frame it. How many people could say they got a check from google? Not many I would think.

Hi Todd,
I'm sure I speak for the multitudes here that it is an honor to be considered "family". As you said in an earlier post, you are just tired of having cancer. You have been so encouraging and inspirational to so many here, but being on the forum and blogging is also a reminder that you have cancer, so I know you must, at times, want to get away from this pesky bunch too. So from my heart I say to you Todd, " Thank you!"

Todd,
I still read your blog to Don and every time he says you are such an honest guy. That's not an easy thing to be when you're writing about your very own self! So, to do that naturally, with the ease that you do, is major because THAT is the thing that gives your blog LIFE and what others can relate and respond to.
(Using the word ease does not mean I think its "easy" or we'd all be doing it!)

We so appreciate what you do.
Blessings on you,
Don & Susan
