Sean, I had robotic. I'm a big baby. It wasn't that bad. Tough getting in and out of bed the first 3-4 days. Rent a recliner to sleep in if you can, for a few days.
Other than that, the only issue I had was the gas that traveled around until about
a week out when I got rid of it. I felt it in my shoulders and chest. And neck. Walk as much as you can to get rid of it.
Aside from that no pain. I took a painkiller the night of the surgery, in the hospital. But after that, none needed. You will be pleasantly surprised.
