That was Mike's point too (see below). However, don't be too quick to throw out the baby with the bath water. Retrospectively, at least, they did predict aggressiveness pretty well. Whether they would perform as well prospectively is anyone's guess. The usefulness is really only for guys who have some risk characteristics like high volume, highish PSA, small prostate, PNI, or GS 3+4 that lead them to question whether AS is right for them.Just how accurate are current genetic/genomic tests in the diagnosis and prognosis of prostate cancer?
