I was loopy from the oral pain meds, but had absolutely no pain during or after the procedure.
I wish I had found this site before the biopsy. I had lidocaine gel inserted which may have done something but I'm the group that had a rather painful biopsy. No nerve block, no oral pain meds just the lidocaine. Not everyone does have a painful event but why not be "prepared". Even the antibiotic shot in the behind was eye
opening. Had I known I would have least done a couple of pain meds before hand.
So Krammer / new guys headed for the procedure be sure to ask your doc about
pain management. If it's lidocaine alone take a couple of those pain meds you have left over from the dentist before you go, I wish I had.
