Like the longest 23 days of my life. Still somewhat sore, but the surgeon had to do a lot more because of the Peyronies. He straightened things out pretty good from what I can see. What an odd journey this whole prostate thing has been. Had some severe swelling for at least 10 days for sure. My balls were the size of a grapefruit for quite awhile. It was bothersome but humorous for sure. The odd thing about this whole implant thing is who do you have to talk to about it? Do you really want to let people know you had an implant? Have one friend I talk to about it and we laugh our rears off making jokes. I think if I didn't have the Peyronies the entire process would have been much easier. The surgeon had to mess with my penis on the inside with a scalpel that can't be a good thing. So carrying on here waiting for things to heal. Looking forward to trying it out but still have at least another month to go before it's even ready for an easy test drive.

If anyone has any questions glad to help out.

Congrats Al on making it thru surgery. When you said "implant" I was thinking you were talking about an AUS and thought, sure, we can talk about that. Then it finally hit me what your implant was.

A couple months before getting my AUS I went to what was basically a sales presentation put on by Boston Scientific at a local hospital. There were 2 or 3 other guys in attendance interested in the AUS but most there wanted to know about the penile prosthesis... several were accompanied by their wives. I guess that's actually a much larger market.

But I do know about the swelling thing, and the discoloration. Even today, three months later, things are still a lot darker down there than before surgery. BTW I always thought Peyronies were mountains between France and Spain. Good luck healing and I hope your device works well for you.

Sounds like you are doing as expected. You should expect things to hurt a bit the first few times you pump it up in earnest. That will mostly go away. At least it did for me.

Al, I've been wondering how you have been doing. Good to hear that recovery is going well.
As Peter said, you can expect some soreness the first several times you inflate it.
I was afraid to do anything with it before getting lessons from the doc.
Be patient - I'm betting you'll love it in a few months.

Thanks so much for the feed back --- need the info for sure.

I'm alone through all this so it's great to have some ears.

Thanks
