Hello,

My husband and I consider 2
Robotic seurgons in Los Angeles.
Doctor Timothy Willson
Who did about 4000 surgeries or Doctor
Timothy J. Daskivich, talent seurgon from
Cedar Sinai who did about 500
surgeries, about 4 surgeries per month.

Who do you reccomend?

Gave your thread a subject line. -- PeterDisAbelard

I was one of Tim Wilson's patients in February 2007. He had it down way back then. Excellent results. He is very highly regarded. He has also come out to Las Vegas where I run a support group and gave an excellent presentation to the survivors here.

Smara...did you ever get resolution on the discrepancy between the Gleason scores on your husband's biopsy slides?

Smara, generally more is better, and there is a general rule of thumb that it takes 500 operations using the DaVinci to get competent at it. Beyond that, I don't have any specifics on either guy. Did your husband ever talk to a radiation oncologist?

I would imagine that this talent requires frequent practice to stay as good as one can be

(think piano)

Thanks for the feedback Smara. I think this means that your husband truly is a 3+4, which means his chances of a cure are very good. Good luck to the two of you!
