As you can see from my signature
My mp mri had EPE positive but my path report had ece negative
I'm assuming epe and ece are the same
My MRI result
PELVIC LYMPH NODES: NO LYMPHADENOPATHY.
SEMINAL VESICLES: NORMAL AND SYMMETRIC..
MULTIPLE AREAS SUSPICIOUS FOR CLINICALLY SIGNIFICANT CARCINOMA IN THE
PROSTATIC PERIPHERAL GLAND, WITH INDEX LESION IN THE RIGHT
MID/BASILAR ASPECT OF THE PERIPHERAL GLAND WITH EXTRA PROSTATIC
EXTENSION. PIRADS: 5
The size of the prostrate was also quite different
MRI put my prostrate at 31 ml but post op path had my prostrate at 49gms ( assuming almost 1ml is 1mg ) the readings were quite different - to me it indicates that the Doc who read the MRI assumed a smaller prostrate and cane out with the positive EPE finding.
